Maryland National Bank Notes

Recently I was commissioned to illustrate 122 bank buildings for a book to be published.  The topic of the book is Maryland national currency notes issued from 1865 to 1935.   Here are the final twenty-two drawings:

For this very unusual project I was asked to create a billboard in a retro-style and include the portrait of the young actor featured in a film.  The billboard was created using Photoshop.  The portrait was painted on bristol board using acrylic paint.  For more information and to view the film see my blog post:  Picture in a Picture:  Fate
