We fell in love with her landscapes several years ago, at the Neuburger Museum of Art, in Purchase, NY. That she is not better known is a misfortune for all those who seek and appreciate greatness. Her works are profound, moving, breathtaking...exquisitely rendered...and exquisite, period. Stephen Hannock's work is subject to the same lack of widespread regard. But all this will change in time--and ultimately Gornick and Hannock and no doubt others will find their rightful place in viewers' sensibilities.
