Hello again Mr Read,
Thank you again for visiting my website and contacting me about your book cover project. Apparently there was an error in the email address you provided and I cannot contact you privately.
I’m sorry to say that your project seems rather out of my league. I am not a computer graphic artist, but a traditional drawing and painting artist. I do not know the references to styles to which you refer or what appears to be computer game references.
I feel the the most helpful advice I can give you is to press on with your search for an artist, looking for one that specializes in computer graphics or comic caricatures. I’m sorry I don’t know anyone who I can refer to you. Best of luck with your endeavor.
Thank you for visiting my website, Mr. Read, and contacting me about your project request. I have also received the detailed description of your project which you sent using the contact form. I will get back to you privately with a reply.
I’m here looking for someone to draw out this image I’ve been carrying around with me since very late 2002. It first started off as something being from a comic book but lately- over the years has become a minor obsession for me to which I must try to finish. If there is nothing else to call it, it would be my best masterpiece- something that will last for ages to come.
I am hoping that you will be interested and that you will make this picture for me and that you might see it as I see it.
thank you for all that you have done and I appreciate you taking the time to look at this.
Hi Kayleen,
Thought I’d let you know that the Art House Co-op has already begun its distribution of books for their 2012 tour. Four stops beyone the US are already scheduled : Canada, the UK, and MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. Check it out!

Thanks for your insight and taking the time to answer Kathleen. I will do that.
Yes Kayleen, I would not be surprised if ArtHouse Co-op is working on an international tour for future projects. There was quite a number of participants from other countries this year who wish it were so.
If you go to the Art House Co-op website you will see on the left side of the page a box where you can sign up for a subscription. If you are a Facebook member you can also access their FB page from the website and receive updates from there, too. http://www.arthousecoop.com/
Thank you for visitng my website and contacting me. Feel free to comment any time.
Thanks for your reply Kathleen. It is good that you have record of what you did to keep. A library collection sounds great. I wish there was one here in Australia to see or they toured here too. It would be so wonderful to see all the sketchbooks. I will keep my eye out for next year then. Do you know if there is anyway to put yourself down on a notification/mailing list for future entries?
Hi Kayleen, All of the sketchbooks become part of the permanent collection of Brooklyn Art Library. I consider other opportunities associated with the project to be positive reasons for participating. I have scanned all the drawings and am having editions printed to have available for gallery shows and sales (a printed version of the book could be made as well). I have posted my portfolio and other art activities on the Art Co-op website. The feedback there from other participants is terrific. The tour is great exposure. I think this is the fourth Sketchbook Project organized by Art House Co-op, so there will probably be another opportunity to participate in 2012 should you decide this project is right for you.
Hi Kathleen, I was wondering if you get the Sketchbooks back from the Sketchbook Project. I missed the opportunity to enter but wondered if all that hard work is returned to you?
Thank you, Mr. De Gennaro, for signing my guest book. Thanks, too, to all the Currency Forum members who have visited my website today. Today’s visitor record is going to be one for the record books!
Kathleen Bentons artwork is currently being recommended on a thread at Collectors Universe Currency Forum. Many collectors visit the forum daily, and are encouraged to view Kathleen’s artwork firsthand at this website. I have enjoyed, and would also recommend Kathleen’s artwork.
Thanks Kim, nice to hear from you! It was always great fun working with you at TJs. Hello to all!
I know kathy is great at what she does. She has a great love for her work and does the best work she could ever do, no matter how small the project! She’s a great person to work with!
